We won the Best Paper Award at ACCV 2012 with our paper "Detecting Partially Occluded Objects with an Implicit Shape Model Random Field" (PDF, slides)
Short CV
Paul Wohlhart received his MSc Degree in Telematics from the Graz University of Technology in 2009. He is currently a
research assistant at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision where he was involved in the projects
Multimedia Documentation Lab (KIRAS - MDL) and
Advanced Learning for Tracking and Detection in Medical Workflow Analysis
and is now part of the team working on the FACTS project.
His research is focused on Object Detecion and Recognition, with a special focus on faces.
Currently he is investigating Part-Based Detection, Geometric Models and Facial Feature Detection.
